The Silk Lady has been in operation since 2012 and is the proud original supplier of 100% Organic Silk Pillowcases in South Africa.

Our luxury collection is of the highest quality, handmade by a creative and skilled group of women using only the finest A Grade Mulberry Silk.

We supply our products both locally and internationally.
We constantly strive to produce all of our garments in the most sustainable way possible. We are one of the only organically certified silk suppliers in South Africa. From a recycling perspective our team is constantly coming up with creative and innovative ways to reuse any off cuts to reduce wastage.

The Silk Lady products are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certified and/or Gots certified.

The silk used in The Silk Lady products comes from the moth Bombyx Mori, which produces the finest and purest silk. It is fed only the finest chopped mulberry leaves and lives in an area free of pollution for a radius of 3 kilometers.
Our silk is strictly chemical-free, from the raw material, through the entire production process.
